Products are selected and specified to relevant IEC standards and, where requested, other applicable international or project-specific requirements. Common references include IEC 62271 for MV switchgear, IEC 60076 for transformers, IEC 61439 for LV assemblies, IEC 60502 and IEC 60840 for power cables, and IEC 60099-4 for surge arresters.

The documentation package depends on the product and project stage. It may include technical data sheets, compliance statements, drawings, dimensions, catalogues, type-test information, certificates and a list of deviations or clarifications. Required submittals should be stated in the enquiry so they can be confirmed in the proposal.

Routine tests are supplied according to the relevant standard and agreed scope. Factory acceptance tests, third-party inspection or additional testing can be evaluated when requested. Availability, witness arrangements, documentation and any additional cost are confirmed during the quotation stage.
